The motivation to write this has been dawning on me over the past few months, as I hit upon the perfect grind, got my tamping right, and achieved harmony between all the elements I work with each morning to make coffee.

I admit that gay is a word that has many meanings but in this case, I am taking the meaning of sheer happiness.

I stumbled on your answer to a question regarding on bitter coffee from a coffee pot. Our small family coffee shop/bakery serves espresso AND coffee pot brewed coffee.
